Licensing & Usage
All designs sold in this shop are digital embroidery files created by Samantha Carey. By purchasing a design, you are granted a personal-use license unless otherwise approved in writing.
1. Personal Use License (Default)
Your purchase includes a license for personal projects only, such as gifts, personal apparel, home décor, and non-commercial crafts. This license does not permit resale, commercial use, or selling finished products.
2. Commercial Use (Approval Required)
If you would like to sell physical items made with my designs, you must contact me first at:

Commercial permissions are granted individually, based on:
Type of product
Intended quantity
Where and how the items will be sold
At this time, I do not offer automated or universal commercial licenses. Approval must be given directly on a case-by-case basis.
3. Restrictions
The following actions are not permitted under any license type:
Reselling or sharing digital files
Creating new embroidery files from my artwork
Using designs with print-on-demand services
Selling patches, appliqués, or standalone embroidery designs
Mass production without written approval
These rules help protect my artwork and ensure a consistent buyer experience.
Downloads
After purchase, your files will be available for instant download through Etsy under “Purchases & Reviews.”
Files are provided in multiple formats, which may include PES, DST, EXP, JEF, HUS, VIP, VP3, PEC, and others depending on the design.
Refund Policy
Digital products cannot be refunded once downloaded. However, if you encounter any issues with your files, please contact me and I will gladly assist you.
Custom Work
I am not offering custom digitizing at this time, but I welcome suggestions for future designs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are your designs hand-drawn?
Yes! Every design in my shop is meticulously hand-drawn in my studio and then carefully digitized for smooth, clean stitching. No AI-generated artwork is ever used.
What file types do you include?
Most designs include the following formats:
PES, DST, EXP, JEF, HUS, VIP, VP3, PEC, PCS.
File types may vary per listing, so please check the description for details.
What machine brands work with your designs?
My files are compatible with all major embroidery machines, including Brother, Baby Lock, Janome, Bernina (with appropriate formats), Viking, and more.
Do designs come in multiple sizes?
Yes! Most designs include 6–8 sizes, from 3" up to 8", depending on the artwork.
I’m also actively reworking many designs to expand size options even more.
If you update a design, will I get the new version?
Yes — always.
If you previously purchased a design and I release an improved version, you can download the update at no extra cost.
Can I still access the original version?
Yes! If you prefer the original stitch file, I can make those available upon request.
Why are some designs inactive right now?
I’m currently refreshing 400+ designs to improve detail, reduce density, and offer more sizes.
New uploads are added weekly as the collection is relaunched.
Can I use your designs on items I sell?
Yes — with the appropriate license:
Personal License (included): For personal use, gifts, and one-off makes.
Commercial License: Required for selling finished goods or using designs repeatedly in your shop.

Can I use your designs for print-on-demand (POD)?
No. Designs in this shop are not permitted for POD platforms (such as Printify, Printful, etc.) unless you obtain an Extended Commercial License.
Can I alter, resell, or digitize your artwork?
No.
You may not:
Resell or share the digital files
Re-digitize the artwork
Claim the artwork as your own
Use parts of the design to create new digital files
My file won’t unzip—what do I do?
Try using a free unzipping program such as WinZip or 7Zip.
If you’re on an iPhone/iPad, you may need Files or iZip to extract the folder.
